This car is an excellent example of a 2002 Thunderbird with under 15,500 miles. Actual mileage at the time of delivery could be slightly higher because of test drives and etc. It is a beautiful white with a matching removeable port hole hardtop and a black power soft top in the well or boot. The hardtop has only been removed and replaced on the car once. The hard top has a stand and cover for easy and convenient storage. The wheeled stand is easy to move on most garage floors to allow stress free moving of the top by one person. (It takes two people to actually remove the hard top from or to replace the hard top on the car) The power top is fast and fits perfectly. It just takes a few seconds to lower the soft top or to raise it back up. The interior is like new and the paint is excellent save for a small scuff on the drivers side view mirror. The trunk is like new. The tires are very good with lots of tread left. We installed a correct new motorcraft battery and have had the car serviced at the local Ford dealership just prior to commencing this auction. The 3.9liter V-8 motor and 5 speed auto transmission really move this little car along. It comes with AC, AM-FM Radio with a 6 disc Cd Player, Cruise Control, Power Tilt and telescoping Steering Wheel, Power Seats, two sets of remote trunk and door openers and two sets of keys. We will also throw in an extra remote and key blank that have been programmed to the car, but the key blank has not been actually cut out to fit the ignition. There are probably other options that we have forgotten to mention. We are the second owners of this car and we have the original window sticker and sales documents. This car sold for over $47,000.00 new including California taxes and the cost of an extended warranty (expired) and the original buyer paid another $1,000.00 for a Lo Jack theft deterrent system. That’s right. When this car left the original seller’s floor the price tag was over $48,000.00!! Our reserve is below average retail according the price guides as is our buy now price. We are located in Southern Oregon and will cooperate with the buyer in shipping or even delivery if fairly close for a reasonable price. (We have a covered trailer) All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. Payment shall be by bank wire transfer of a $1,000.00 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end excluding weekends and holidays. The balance is due before pickup or delivery of the vehicle in the same manner. All funds must be paid in full within 10 days of the auction end. We will cancel the sale and relist the vehicle if the terms are not met by buyer. Deviation from the payment terms must be agreed to by seller. This vehicle is also for sale locally and we reserve the right to cancel the auction early if the vehicle should sell outside of this auction.
