1990 Mazda Miata MX-5 convertible, this car has been used as a daily driver since new, it is complete, together and would be an ideal candidate for a complete ground up restoration, or a race car project. The car starts, runs, moves and stops, but has sat for an extended period of time and should be trailered home by its new owner. Currently the engine has a slight miss, and the cause is unknown. The car has 154,799 actual miles on the original drive train, a 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual tranmission. The exhaust system is new. The body is very straight with the exception of one baseball size dent in the right front fender on the wheel opening lip. The right exterior mirror is missing from the housing. There is rust in front of both rear wheel openings and the rear of the rocker panels. The red paint is weathered and faded in spots. All of the glass is in excellent conditon. The car still has it's original 7 spoke alloy wheels with hubcaps which for the most part are just dirty from brake dust and need a good cleaning. For tires it has 4 nearly new Goodyear Allegra's. The interior is in very good conditon for it's age the seats are black and gray with no rips or tears and the rest of the interior is black. the only visible defect is that he radio bezel is broken from a thief trying to steal the radio, and other than that the rest of the interior is very decent even the original Miata floor mats are still nice. The car has two tops, the rag top which has been replaced once and is stil in decent shape with a black top boot that is new and has never been used, the factory hardtop is also in good condition. The car comes with a good Missoui title. I have tried to describe this Miata to the best of my ability but have probably missed something that you would like to know, if so please ask. If you have been looking for a Miata to play with without breaking the bank then this may be the one, the reserve is set very reasonable for what you will be getting.
