Vehicle Detail
Hello Monte Carlo Enthusiasts! If you are looking for a seriously FAST car, then this Monte is up your alley. This 1972 Monte Carlo Custom has a factory 425 HP big block 454 engine, turbo 400 trans paired with a 12 bolt 373 rear end. This car has gone through a complete two year rotisserie restoration in '08 and '09. The motor has been completely redone well above par with only 2K miles on it and runs extremely fast. This Chevy is completely rebuilt from the 750 Holly 4 barrel carb, double hump aluminum heads and valves and seals all the way down to the polished crank. To any big block Chevy lover this Beast can rumble! Although this engine has not been dyno'd, it far surpasses the original HP & torque specs. The feel of the throttle and the power to the ground speaks for itself! The body is arrow straight and the Custom paint is in excellent condition. Done in H.o.K Triple Black with air brushed flames done by Hayden Custom Air Brushing, makes this car one of a kind. Options include AM/FM radio and brand NEW tires with less than 3K miles on them. Not an inch was spared on the details, Custom Embroidered SS 454 head rests on the bucket seats, Custom Airbrushed front seat panels to the wood grain GT steering wheel. I would say the only thing it's lacking is the trunk lock, a piece of aluminum trim for the vinyl top and the ac condenser, but I will be sending these items along with the car so no worries! I am also including a New dash with all of the parts. Not because there is anything wrong with the one already installed, but it wouldn't be a complete restoration without it. I have described this car to the best of my knowledge and ability. I stand by what I have said. Feel free to come and inspect the car as well! Sit in the driver's seat start the engine up & take it for a spin. Bid with confidence. I encourage you to ask questions or request more information. Seller reserves the right to end auction early. Call with any questions and I'll be happy to answer them!Ronald Lovern (804) 586-0078Happy Bidding! To the Ebay community, my sincerest apologies for any misunderstanding with this listing. I am by no means trying to mislead anyone with the description I have posted. I have in fact removed "original" and "mint condition" as well as "SS" from the headings and description because of the miscommunication between myself and the owner of the car. It is difficult to list a car this way, but it is the first time listing in this manor. Also MANY thanks to ebay user -jakegould for directing my attention and research to better sources. Please understand that compared to most cars I have seen including privately owned, car corral and auctioned, I will say this car is truly in great condition, reliable, FAST and gorgeous. To see this car in person would allow it to speak for itself. Also, there is currently a 1970 front grill on this Monte because the owner misplaced the original one. No worries though, he will be including a brand new 1972 Monte Carlo grill and emblems along with the purchase of the car. The vin will be posted shortly to ensure honesty in what I have said. Also, the owner's computer is down at the moment. He insists anyone who has any questions to not hesitate in calling him! He will be more than gracious to answer immediately. Thank you
