You are bidding on a 1992 Subaru Legacy 5-door Wagon. I bought the car in 1994 from a dealer salesman that drove it. I've owned it ever since. It came fully equipt with just about everything extra available at the time, any features listed still operate fully unless otherwise noted. The 4-wheel drive capabilities have driven me through snow, rain and ice as well as all-terrain while camping, or canoeing and hauling lumber, stone and brick for projects at home. The exhaust from the engine to the tail pipe was replaced 18 months ago, (as were the caps and rotors on all 4 wheels). Battery Dec. 2008. All four, 40,000 mile tires, only have 3,000 on them. It's been a great car, but now as a single serious problem. No power steering, the pulley that a belt goes around is completely loose and non-functional. It has broken and partially desintigrated the shaft it connects to which goes into the engine. I've driven it about 20 miles since this happened, including to a mechanic that suggested replacing the engine. (I saw an engine for this car on eBay last week for $299., but figure I'll leave that project to the next guy. See eBay item:190381070086). I don't suggest you drive this car. None of the other engine or brake functions seem to be affected, though the alternator's belt is disconnected from the pully system. It runs and drives, all transmission and brake functions work properly. The NJ Inspection sticker is good through December 2011. Power Sunroof, power windows, power locks, A/C, Stereo AM/FM Casette, all interior and exterior and navagation lighting function like new. Passenger side remote mirror does not work, and has plastic mirror. Driver's sun visor disconnected but included. Many dings scratches and a few small dents. No accidents, some body rust. Comes with original Owners Manual and case, Chilton's Subaru Manual #64302 and touch-up paint. SOLD AS IS. SALE IS FINAL. Seller accepts no responsibility for transport of this vehicle.
