Stay tuned for all the detailsOn Apr-17-10 at 18:18:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok, here's some of the details on this 3rd owner, original numbers matching 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS convertible - I purchased it from the 2nd owner in November of 2006 - he had it from the previous original owner for three years - to my knowledge the only things not original on this vehicle are the top - it's fairly new, and the paint - I'm told the original owner had the vehicle repainted a while back - everything works as it should - tires have less than 500 miles on them, I put new brakes, a left door hinge bushing, a new front tag bracket, and new "327" and crossed flag emblems on the fenders. The interior is completely original including the chrome "RS" steering wheel - console is like new, interior in awesome condition considering it's 43 years old - slight tear in the drivers bottom, some minor cracking in both the drivers and passengers molded door arm rests - I would think the carpet has a one time been replaced and the radio is a replacement - power top works as it should - its a little slow the first time - and everything in the top including latches, etc. are original - the engine, a 327/210hp is the original complete engine including carburator, distributor, etc - I did replace a few worn decals under the hood, everything else was there - to be honest it smokes a little cold and like all chevy small blocks, seeps oil out of the rear main when it sits for long periods - original numbers matching Powerglide transmission is super smooth and shifts as it should - original rear differential works as it should - no rust on the undercarriage, the floor pans are original and solid, as is the trunk the body is in great condition - this is not a show car, its a driver to enjoy, there are a few nicks, dings, scratches - all very small and minor - there is a little bit of bubbling in the rear quarters, so minor you can barely see it - some would say this is a 5 footer - looks perfect from 5 feet but you can see a few flaws if you really look up close - chrome, bumpers, emblems are all in place and appear as you would expect - this car drives perfectly with "one finger'" steering - has a slight miss on acceleration which is probably a little dirt in the carb, but it smooths out very nicely - If your looking for an almost completely original 1967 Camaro RS Convertible that looks and drives like it did in 1967, you found it. I do have a reserve, which is what I paid for it over 3 years ago, not including the tires, etc. all questions will be answered by email only - additional pics to serious bidders by request - at my reserve I will even pay for transportation within the continental US.
