This car is a Honda so it will run for 200,000 miles or more. I listed the mileage at 90,000 because that is what the odometer shows and that is what we were told when we bought the car recently. However when we ran a carfax check on the car (after we brought it home) it showed that the last reading was 185,000. We took the car to our local mechanic who told us that it appears to have had the engine replaced and that could account for the mileage difference?? My son bought the car for $2000 and drove it home from Miami to Ft Myers,FL which is about 120 miles with no problems except that the odometer just stopped when it rolled over 90,009 miles.The car definately needs some work but does not appear to have any major problems. My son is not interested in working on cars and honestly he feels this is not the car he thought it was so he wants to sell it for whatever he can get. I will try to describe all of the problems the car has that we are aware of. Obviously the mileage issue is the biggest problem. As I stated the car ran OK when we drove it home but it is 15 yrs old and seems to run a little rough to me. Two of the power windows do not work, the passenger side front and the back window on the drivers side. The car has an after market cd player but it does not appear work. Our mechanic said that we should consider a brake job if we kept the car. They work fine with no squealing so I'm sure they are OK for now, but I trust this mechanic so I wanted to mention it.The car has power locks which do work but it also came with a remote keyless entry which does not work. Hopefully it just needs batteries?? We also discovered that the Cruise Control does not work. There are a few dents on the front of the car and the hood which I tried to show in the photos. The dent in the hood actually is right where the locking arm holds the hood open which looks like maybe someone tried to close the hood without releasing the arm?? The interior of the car is in decent shape ,especially for a car of this age. I did notice a small hole on the back seat, possibly cigarette burn? Overall this car is still a good car for basic transportation. The A/C works, which is a big plus here in FL, although my son does not think it is ice cold as described in the classified ad he answered. I drove the car about 5 miles yesterday and the a/c seemed fine to me but in was just very cool rather than ice cold.If you know how to work on cars and especially the electronics,you can get a great deal here since this is a no reserve auction. However,I am willing to drive the car to any location within 10 miles ,so if you know how to ship it,I guess I could. My son has a paypal account so you could pay that way also.
