DESCRIPTION:

Our 1989 Mercedes 560 SEC is a very nice looking classic Mercedes that just needs an engine replacement. The previous owner always had the car properly maintained, but an engine can fail without notice. All the electronics including the power features seem to function properly. The battery is weak and the engine won't start so some items like the A/C system can't be tested for proper operation, but it worked before the engine failure. The previous owner recently traded this car in on a newer Mercedes. Other than the engine, this Benz is mechanically in decent condition considering the year and the mileage. The interior looks nice with only the driver's seat leather and the headliner in the rear needing to be repaired and/or replaced. The rest of the interior looks nice and all the power options work properly including the seats, radio, windows, sunroof, etc. The exterior looks very nice. The paint is glossy and only has a few scratches here and there. There are some small dings and dents on the hood and rear trunk lid, but the body's side panels are very straight. The front bumper has numerous scrapes, chips and scratches, but the rear bumper looks great. The alloy wheels look very nice and the tires are almost new up front and have 80% tread-life remaining in the rear.
