Up for auction is my 2003 50th Anniversary Corvette Z06 with approximately $14,000 in performance and luxury upgrades. $3k seat upgrade. An almost unbelievable 28+ mpg on the highway. The rarest color, with only 13% of 2003 Z06's being the classic silver (1 of only 1,089 produced). This is the only C5 Z06 nationally available as of this writing with a full touch screen navigation unit, and the only one with proper sports car seats (I encourage you to push and pull on the seatback of every Corvette you test drive and take a turn at over 5 mph to see what I'm talking about!) Fresh 90k service with all new fluids, so she's ready to go for her fortunate new owner. I come from a family of engineers, so rest assured that only the finest engineered components were added to this vehicle. The vehicle is story-free and Carfax certified (please don't hesitate to send me a message me for a copy of the Carfax). It has been my daily driver for the past 5 years with mostly highway miles from commuting between grad school in Georgia and my home in South Carolina on a frequent basis. Unfortunately for me the car has never been to the track, but as you'll see below it is overbuilt for extreme durability for most punishing track conditions (let alone a daily driver!). There are many, MANY miles left on this car before it needs any significant mechanical work, and if you do your research you'll find that these LS motors can often be good for 250k-300k miles before needing any reconditioning (no, seriously!). The overbuilt valvetrain and driveline will give the new owner even more peace of mind. Brake pads and rotors were replaced not too long ago. This car just had all of its oil changed, and fluids flushed and replaced. It needs nothing maintenance-wise for quite some time, other than a simple oil change in 3,000 miles! The vehicle has never been in an accident, but please keep in mind it isn't brand new and does have some very tiny rock chips in the paint. There are some small scratches that I believe can be taken out by any decent detailing shop. Most of these flaws are invisible to most folks from a few feet away. (*edit* I just noticed that in the picture of the small surface scratches on the front passenger side fender there are black spots...this is only dirt from driving the vehicle to take the photos and NOT paint damage. I didn't notice them while photographing...whoops!) The wheels have a bit of normal road rash on them as you'll see in the photos. I have done my best to document the flaws, but please don't hesitate to ask me to send you high-resolution pictures so there are no surprises. I hate surprises! I have high resolution pictures of every single body panel and absolutely nothing to hide given the overall incredible shape of the vehicle, so don't be bashful about asking me for them! The tires are almost down to the treadwear indicators and will need replacing in about 2-3k miles or so. But like I said, if you Buy It Now, I will throw in brand new tires for free! I will even throw in an alignment as the steering wheel is off center a few degrees from normal tire wear, but I think I'm just being a bit nit-picky.
