- am pleased to offer this very nice and rather rare 1923 Franklin "V" windshield. I have owned this car for 6 years and know it's history from 1960. This car is loaded with lots of bells and whistles and character for it's time. This car has been in a controlled enviroment for over 50 years. I purchased it from the owners wife who kept it for over twenty years after his passing. I have an audio tape with the previous two owners discussing the car and it's restoration. As you can see this car is wonderful for a 50year old restoration. The Air cooled engine runs great with no unusual noises and I know of nothing it needs. The paint looks great for it' s age and only has a couple of blemishes that can only be expected. The roof looks great. The interior is wonderful as well. All the windows have pull down blinds and the glass is all good.The tires are old but they don't look bad. The parts car has a newly rebuilt engine and it runs good. It has all of it's original wheels a couple of hoods, headlights, speedometer, back seat and one front. several misc. parts. The body is intact and has all it's fenders.
