1966 Chevelle Malibu This car has been a race car since 1989 originally from Kansas and has a clear title. Been in Tucson since 2004 The engine is originally a 1970 Big Block 396 (350 hp) according to block numbers. I don’t know much about the engine other than what the previous owner told me. 12-1 compression, roller rockers, Wolverine cam Blue racer .578 int and .603 Ext and 320 duration. 850 Holley Double pumper, Holley fuel pump, this engine produces over 500hp. Runs strong does not smoke even at cold start up, well built tight engine. The transmission is a Turbo 400 with reverse shift, 4000 stall, trans shield, line lock. Trans has small leak from pan gasket. Shifts great. Rearend is Ford 9 inch with 514 gear and spool. The rearend makes whinning noise when accelerating will need to be inspected. The interior has year correct buckets seats, the rear seat needs to be redone but is not in car because of the roll bar is in the way and is available upon request. Needs headliner and dash pad. Car is an original AC car. Fire wall is in excellent shape. The car has Weld racing Prostar wheels and tires are excellent condition. This car should have truck pan replaced due to some rust and holes cut from fuel cell and pumps. The fuel tank is the factory tank installed for more volume. The frame is in excellent shape no rust and was never wrecked. This is a good start for those who want to race and is respectable if you want to drive on the street. Brakes are great and is drums all around. Has 3 inch exhaust with mufflers. Has all SS emblems and SS hood. Ran in the 11s with 411 gear.
