Update… Sorry, I’m not very knowledgeable on Studebakers, just trying to help out. So, I’ve been told this is NOT a Starlight Coupe. It’s just a Sedan. It was purchased from a museum and it’s in Great Condition. I’ve been asked a lot of questions, I couldn’t answer without driving the car, so I drove it. YES… the overdrive works well. Engaged smoothly in 2nd after 30 mph and also in 3rd. The steering is very tight with no play and it shifts smoothly through the gears. The brakes work… not as good as my 2018 F150, but probably as they did in 1950. Please feel free to send your mechanic, cause this is all I know. Thanks
