I’m selling my 1 of 1 Challenger SRT8. I’m the third owner and bought the car 4 months ago, so before we get to it, my question would be, why…. Why would you sell this beautiful car? Well, I’m 64 years old, fell off a ladder and now scheduled for a “full” shoulder replacement on Feb 5th!! Ouch… So, no shifting gears for a year!! Now about this Beast. The original owner had Very Deep Pockets !! He purchased the car new and at 14,500 miles sent it to Arrington Performance and told them to make it fast. They did just that with a fully forged 426ci Stroker Hemi for over $30,000 resulting in 719 horsepower with 676 Ft/Lbs. to the tires at 11 lbs boost on pump gas. This equates to approx. 840 flywheel HP. That’s about 130 more horsepower than a Hellcat. So… Faster than a Hellcat, we’re talking Demon territory here for a fraction of the price. Yes.. Save over $75,000 buying this car with the same HP on pump gas, a better engine capable of much, much more. (The built engine, supercharger and fuel system is capable of supporting up to 20 lbs of boost adding 60 HP per each pound of boost. Race fuel would be required after 12 lbs.) A tower brace was “welded” in, then painted to match. It looks like it came from the factory. Bracing was added in the trunk also to handle the HP. Everything on this car was professionally done with the finest attention to detail. The $30K is too much to list but feel free to call me for details 321-632-1613. In addition to their upgrades, a SPEC Super Twin Multi-Disc Clutch and Flywheel (SD80ST-2) was installed. The shifter was replaced with a Barton shifter which is very tight and provides quick steady short shifts. Wheels were replaced with one-piece aluminum Weld wheels with 305/45/R18 Nitto Extreme Drags. Believe it or not, these cars come with a two-piece driveshaft. This was replaced with a Custom-made Aluminum shaft. A Custom “Old School” fiberglass hood to complete the 70’s reminder of true Muscle !! Of course, I have the original hood, which is pictured on Arrington’s website, if you prefer the original look.Exterior: Plum Crazy and….. There is not a scratch in the paint anywhere. The car has always been garage kept with a cover on it. So paint is “as new”. There’s not much to say…. Perfect!! Interior: Well, it’s top of the line SRT8, so it’s loaded. All the creature features and everything works “as new”!! This car has 19,500 miles on it and it is in “brand new” condition!! This means the new engine and drivetrain has 5,000 miles on it. Which also means it’s been driven and proved to be “dependable”. It runs, drives, brakes as new. No rattles, no creeks, no wind noise. The 840HP may sound a little intimidating, however it’s at your control. Meaning the car drives like any other when the right peddle is applied lightly. You can drive it to the grocery store, pick the kids up from school and get over 18 MPG while doing it. Of course, when the right peddle is matted, the MPG drops significantly and your back is pinned to the seat. So in conclusion, I hate letting her go, but don’t want her sitting around because I may never be able to shift her again. It’s all about money…. Do you want to be the baddest boy on the block?? I’ve had & driven 11, 10, 9 & 8 second cars throughout my life and I can tell you, this is a true 9 second car on pump gas...with AC. So, bid with confidence.
