Injectors and glow plugs are strong. No smoke and no blowby. No check engine lights. The truck needs a power steering pump. The truck will also need a water pump as the bearing is bad. THE TRUCK HAS RUST. Driver side running board falling off. License plates WILL NOT go with the truck. It is against the law to have these plates if you are not physically disabled. The current owner stop driving the vehicle because of a failed power steering pump which leads to no brakes. The owner abandoned the truck on a deer lease for over a year on near Galveston island and I am liquidating the truck here on ebay with the problems listed but not limited to a bad power steering pump and it also leaks power steering fluid, a water pump that appears leaky, tailgate does not latch and is mangled, headliner is drooping from what appears to be a water leak, shifter a little loose but goes into gear fine., seats have 1 tear on entry way of driver seat., front and rear bumper has dents, and cosmetic issues along with rust all over. The good news is the engine sounds great. It sounds as a 7.3 should sound when running normally. Start it up in 30 degree weather with no issues and pulls away strong cold or warm. Injectors sound good with a smooth idle all around. I got the truck up to speed and it shifted through all gears fine. Truck was never used to tow and has no towing equipment or hitch in the bed. This was an exclusive Galveston Island truck. The 4x4 was for driving on the sand. No smoking from the tailpipe and did the oil cap test and notice no blowby. This is a TEXAS truck and has never left TEXAS.Clear title actual mileage.Truck with come with signed titled & transfer notification signed ready to go.Truck is great for someone who wants a great deal and can repair themselves.Truck is also a great deal if you want to fix it up for resale. These 7.3 4x4 diesel trucks in Texas are GOLD when fully refurbished.If you don't fill out the title in front of me I expect you to furnish a drivers license for my records. You will get a signed title, the truck, and a key. I will be back from a trip Jan 26th so you can pick up the truck anytime after Jan 26th. I'm available daily after 300pm. Because the power steering pump has completely failed the brakes do not work at all. I suggest you tow it away as the deed restriction here does not allow auto repair on site. If you drive way, well that will be at your own risk. However I would not drive it far with a bad water pump... that would be an easy way to ruin the motor.
