2005 Ford Expedition seeking a new home. This faithful family companion has served me well for six years. This terrific family hauler is up for nearly any job. This go anywhere truck is great in the snow and anywhere you want to get to. Before I detail to you how this truck has been lovingly cared for over the years, here is the problem. At 197,000 miles my mechanic has informed me that the 5.4 Triton engine is in need of new timing chains and phasers. Should also mention that some of the clear coat is peeling off of the driver’s side roof line. Truck starts, but needs a new battery. Here is what has been replaced in 2018. Spark Plugs, fuel filter, fuel injection service, front sway bar links, ignition coil, and front brakes with ceramic pads. CB radio in the center console works and has a working PA function. Aftermarket Blaupunkt car stereo with blue tooth hands free calling. All interior light were converted to LED, a huge improvement. I Have all service records for the truck since I bought it seven years ago. The truck is still registered and insured and available for test drives.
