1978 BMW R100RS This is a great running and garage kept BMW. It is the BMW Imola Polaris Silver color. It has 70,900 miles. All gauges work. Horn works, turn signals work. Everything works. I’ve recently put new coils in it, new plugs, crankcase breather tube, battery, points, and condenser, oil and filter. I cleaned the carburetors and took apart and cleaned the 2 front calipers. It does not smoke, leak, or burn any oil. It has brand new fairing grommets where the front forks pass through the fairing. And it is fast. It is the 1000cc motor with 40mm Bing carbs. Rated at 70 HP. The transmission is the 5 speed. Being a Nevada bike, there is no rust anywhere on the bike. There are 2 small scrapes on the edge of the fairing, caused by rolling it in and out of the garage. It also has the hard bags, although they are not the correct ones for this bike, they fit well and offer more room. The bike had been stored for a number of years and was recommissioned just recently. The tires should be exchanged for new ones as they are more than a few years old. Other than that, you could fly in and ride it anywhere, even cross country to get it to it's new home.
