Relisted due to a non paying buyer. For sale is a one owner 1971 Opel GT which has been off the road since 1986 stored in a dry garage. Car is mostly complete but is missing the radiator and door panels. The seats are included but need some attention. The engine starts and runs by turning key when a battery is connected and gas run into the carb. Except for the loud muffler the engine sounds very good, smooth with no knocks etc. Body has some dents (large one in the right door) and some rust in typical areas. Floor pans are good with some cancer on the passenger side under the kick vent area. Driver's side is real good (light showing thru in driver's floor pan is where rubber floor plug goes, not rust thru) Right side of lower dash pad was charred some in a cigarette related carpet fire on the passenger side. Since it has been sitting 32 years it will need to be gone thru to make it road worthy but it's a great starting point. Belly pan has typical rust under side. Instrument panel is okay and dash pad has typical cracking but less than most I'd say. Car is a 4 speed manual trans. All glass is good.
