This 1967 El Camino Chevelle Malibu still belongs to the original owner – Grandpa has decided it’s time to let go. 159,440 miles. Has been garaged for 51 years (California). Engine was completely rebuilt at 120,000 - new pistons and rings, turned crankshaft, ground valves and replaces guides - new cam, lifters and timing chain - new carburetor and radiator and hoses. Transmission also rebuilt with new bushings, seals, and clutches along with new bearings, seals and replaced axles in the rear end. Front suspension also replaced upper and lower control arm bushings, pitman arm, idler arm, and tie rods. Original body panels, newer interior and headliner. Power brakes & power steering. Powerglide transmission was rebuilt at 145,405 miles. Four new tires mounted and balanced at 159,290 miles. Running extremely well – only known issue is a leak in the master brake cylinder. Super nice and perfect for the enthusiast who wants to baby it a little more than it already has been!
