Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice, clean, straight, undamaged GTO. These cars were built by Holden, a GM subsidiary in Australia. It has lived in a garage all it's life. Has original 6 speed manual with original 6.0 LS2. Interior is near perfect. body has only minor chips at front from use. All original interior in great condition and uncracked leather, including original Blaupunkt radio. The seats are nice and large in this model-- I'm 6'2'', 275 and I am comfortable in it to do an 8 hour road trip. Has aftermarket speakers. The rear Fascia was painted metallic black to make the red GTO letters pop--they also fluoresce at night.and the front header panel is also painted metallic black. the headlights are clear, not cloudy or dull. The vehicle has significant mods to it-- aftermarket cam with .595 lift. larger throttle body, fresh air intake, Cook's stainless long tube headers, stainless x-pipe. It has aftermarket cats installed and is licensed and inspected and passes smog check. It has electric cut-outs mounted near the end of the x-pipe. It has a custom tune to make the most of the mods. Flowmasters with slightly larger chrome tips in the stock outlet location. Also has Pedders adjustable suspension at all four corners. It is lower and has stiffer springs front and rear. All brake rotors are cross drilled. It as a larger diameter after-market right side axle to reduce wheel hop under power. Has nearly new Continental DW tires- they stick well in wet and are really good in the dry. You can see the aftermarket 19" 'black chrome' wheels on it-- the rear tires are 275 cross section and fit the smallish wheel wells perfectly without rubbing or touching anything. I have recently had the rear diff reconditioned with all new bearings and seals. It also has new cush joints and center bearing from Australia in the driveshaft. Prior to the installation of the cats in the y-pipe--I'm told it had 438 rear wheel horsepower. Trans has original O.E. shifter and knob and shifts smoothly and quietly. I use it as a daily driver frequently. It is great fun to drive and is squeak and rattle free. This vehicle is in excellent condition. No disappointments. On two different 1000+ mile road trips, it returned 21-22 mpg at 80mph. It is not too loud. Comes with both keys in working order and the special spanner wrenches for ride height adjustment along with the original owner's manual. This is a no reserve auction. I have the clear Texas title in hand.
