Vehicle Detail
1970 Suzuki TS 250 Savage History: The 1970 TS250 Savage was Suzuki Motor Corp's response to the Yamaha DT-1 250 Enduro. This Suzuki enduro has some special credence in the vintage motorcycle collector community as possibly being the best-looking TS Savage ever made. As history will show, the Suzuki TS enduro line was well-designed, well-built and a very robust performer in a variety of engine displacements. The 250cc bike was their most popular model. About this bike: This beautiful survivor bike has only 6353 original miles. The bike was originally sold in CA, and was lightly used and well-cared for throughout it's life. The bike is in all original condition, except for the replacement rear shocks, a recently replaced new battery, and new tires. The chrome and paint are original, and in very nice condition with minor blemishes. The original handlebar is still on the bike, along with original paint tank, original fenders, cables, controls, grips, seat, lights, reflectors etc. Everything is in place that was on the bike in the dealer showroom in 1970. There are some visible cosmetic blemishes (as expected with an unrestored original 48 year old bike). There is some minor pitting in the chrome on the front fender - please see the photos. Overall, the bike is cosmetically VERY nice. There is an original owner's manual that comes with the bike. The bike starts easily on 1-2 kicks and runs well. The top-end was refreshed with a first-over piston and bore. The lights work, and the factory oil injection is in place - no premix required. This bike is street legal, and comes with a clear CA Title. The photographs are a part of my description, and should be looked at carefully especially if you are not able to see the bike in person. Personal inspections are welcome. Contact me to arrange, or call with any questions at 805 708-1129. My name is Bill. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, and I will meet and assist your shipper when they arrive to pick-up the bike. International buyer's are welcome, but they must make ALL arrangements for picking up the bike and shipping to their destination. I will assist to help make this as smooth as possible. A $500 non-refundable Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of the listing close. The balance is due within seven days, and can be cash in person, wire, or cashiers check. No Paypal for the balance.
