The rear axle is seized, and the throttle pedal is stuck at wide open. Upon starting the vehicle for the first time after purchase, the engine throttle tried to run away(on a cold diesel engine). Operator attempted to restrict engine RPM to prevent engine damage during warm up by placing transmission in gear, and parking brake on. Torque converter overheated, and fire likely started from an overflow of superheated transmission fluid and/or engine oil. Fire was extinguished quickly prior to fire dept arrival. Damage is limited to area directly around/above torque converter. Vehicle is sold AS IS; NO returns or refunds.
