Vehicle Detail

Please see item condition above. I can provide EXTENSIVE information about literally every nut and bolt on this truck to serious buyers. Below is a partial list of features, specs, work done, etc... all work was done by me, personally: - Factory sport package featuring blacked out bumpers, grille, gray tailgate lettering, and badge/emblem delete (original equipment).- Stylin Concepts billet grille and bowtie (owner upgrade).- Factory fog lights in front bumper valence (original equipment). - Turbo diesel front bumper with functional air ducts (correct GM duct work installed - owner upgrade).- Factory auxiliary transmission cooler, hoses, and brackets, all mounted with GM hardware (owner upgrade).- BFG 275/60-R15 tires on American Racing 15"x8" Aluminum rims with black "saw blade" accents. Rims are not bent or damaged in any way, and they are in excellent cosmetic condition (owner upgrade).- Bell Tech 2" drop shackle installed on rear suspension (owner upgrade).- Factory G80 Eaton locking differential (still works perfectly, clutches not worn out, axle routinely serviced with Mobil-1 75w-90 gear oil - original equipment).- Factory 3.42:1 axle ratio (in excellent condition, no howl, noise, or excessive backlash, see above pics - original equipment).- TA Girdle rear differential cover (owner upgrade). - Energy Suspension black polyurethane bushings (does not squeak) installed at all locations on rear leaf springs and shackles and at all locations on front and rear stabilizer bars (stabilizer bar d-bushings are greaseable - owner upgrade) - Custom mounted 1993 suburban rear stabilizer bar (owner upgrade).- Bell Tech Nitro-Active monotube shocks at all four wheels (owner upgrade).- Moog tie rod ends, tie rod sleeves, pitman arm, and idler arm installed not long before truck was parked. Energy Suspension black polyurethane dust boots installed (owner upgrade).- Timken front wheel bearings and races installed not long before truck was parked (owner upgrade).- All chassis parts (joints and bearings) lubed regularly with Mobil-1 NLGI-2 synthetic grease.- All ball joints (except for the passenger upper joint) are original pieces, but they are still tight. The one non-original joint on the passenger upper arm is a Moog unit. - Brake system regularly serviced with Valvoline DOT 4 synthetic fluid. No issues with ABS modulator (original unit), master cylinder (original replaced under warranty by dealership at around 30,000 miles), calipers (original units), etc. Rear wheel cylinders were replaced as part of most recent brake job performed. There are no ABS lights or wheel speed sensor issues, the system works perfectly,- Earl's stainless steel braided brake hose kit (owner upgrade).- Most recent brake job performed not long before truck was permanently parked. Rotors and drums turned (no vibration), all springs and hardware replaced, and Wagner Thermo-Quiet pads/shoes installed at all four wheels. System fully bled with Valvoline DOT 4 fluid.- Custom spray in bed liner in flawless condition (owner upgrade).- Accura fiberglass running board/ground effects kit (with 3M trim) installed with stainless steel fasteners when truck was new (not purchased as a "conversion truck" - owner upgrade).- Solid rear window, not a slider (original equipment). - Power windows, door locks, and cruise control. Keyless entry with BOTH original key fobs and keys included (original equipment).- Factory Suburban leather seats with center console. Driver side is six-way power adjustable, passenger side is manual adjust. Correct factory wiring from a Suburban was installed to supply power to the driver seat along with correct factory floor pan reinforcement plates under the cab floor for secure seat mounting (owner upgrade). - And probably several things I am forgetting. As I mentioned previously though, I have extensive documentation on everything done, and I will be providing all this info to the buyer. Also, the accident listings you will see on the vehicle report are as follows: there have never been any serious collisions in this truck. The incident reported in 1999 was minor front end damage (bumper and grille) when a driver failed to yield the right of way at an intersection and I t-boned their car at about 30 m.p.h. I took this opportunity to upgrade to the billet grille insert (original grille frame was not damaged) and I also installed the turbo diesel front bumper and duct work. Also, the two incidents in 2004 were police reports from where the truck was broken into and the stereo head unit was stolen (hence the passenger door damage and the absence of a stereo at present). I stopped driving the truck on a daily basis about six months after the thefts occurred, and it has been stored in my garage ever since. So, why am I selling this truck I have spent 22 years working on? I have simply run out of time and the necessary room to restore this truck to its previous condition, as I have other project cars I need to tend to. I would like to see it sold to someone who will take this as-is and run with it, as it is (at present) an excellent starting point for a project car to someone willing to put in the time and work. There is no bent frame, body rust, questionable repairs to the suspension or brakes to worry about, nor any hacked up wiring. An engine, transmission, and PCM could easily be dropped into this truck over a weekend and it can be driven (fresh tires would be advisable). The interior panels are all in excellent condition, so no major work needs to be done there aside from simply re-installing the interior. The only body work needed is for the hood to be replaced and the included new door painted and hung... the rest of the paint is in excellent condition (better than is seen in the pics, as the truck is dirty at the moment). Thank you for looking. Serious inquiries only, please. On Oct-04-18 at 14:13:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Info Added 10-04-2018: I just want to clarify a few things which might have not been enumerated clearly in my above description: - The stereo head unit and the four speakers are not included. But, all the wiring for the stereo system is intact.- The original 100 mph gauge cluster was sold years ago (was going to go back with an Escalade 120 mph unit), so it is not included. However, I DID retain the original odometer, so the recorded mileage is correct. The original odometer can be easily swapped into any cluster, and no programming is necessary when swapping clusters around on these trucks. Replacement clusters usually go between $75-$100 here on eBay at the moment, with Escalade clusters going for $125-$150. If need be, I can assist the buyer in procuring another cluster and installing the correct, original odometer for this truck.- The passenger side power window regulator and motor are missing. The motor had stopped working anyway, so I seem to recall that the window regulator and motor were scrapped in anticipation of installing a new replacement. The passenger side window, track, wiring, switches, door lock motors, etc. are still intact, however. The driver side power window motor and regulator is complete, installed, and working. So, to reiterate, the only things missing from the interior are: the original gauge cluster (I do have the correct original odometer though), the stereo head unit & speakers, and the passenger power window motor and regulator. All the other pieces for the interior are included, as seen in the pics. - In the above pic of the engine bay, please notice that the y-pipe/catalytic converter assembly are missing. This removed years ago, as the units in place at the time the truck was parked were high mileage and beginning to throw converter efficiency codes. So, they were going to have to be replaced anyway. The cat-back assembly (stock intermediate pipes, muffler, and tail pipe) is still in place and is in working order. Lastly, I do have some additional parts I had procured to go back on this truck, and depending upon which way the buyer wishes to go with the powertrain (back to a Vortec 5.7, LS swap, 4L60E, or otherwise), I can include some of these parts with the truck. Again, this is dependent upon how the buyer wishes to equip the truck once they own it as to whether or not some of these parts I have will be compatible with his/her plans for this truck going forward. On Oct-04-18 at 14:30:01 PDT, seller added the following information: More added info... since the auction now has bids, eBay will not allow me to upload more pics or better versions of what is there already. I am just now noticing it seems my original high resolution pics are compressed and grainy when viewed here. My apologies if certain aspects are not clear because of this. One thing I wanted to mention which is not easy to see in the pics: - The windshield is cracked all the way across thanks to a rock chip in the center. This did not prevent the truck from passing state inspection, as I drove it with the crack in it for some time. It does not obscure visibility and does not leak, but obviously the windshield needs to be replaced at some point. This just cannot be clearly seen in my pics, so I wanted to point this out. I typically only get to reply to messages in the evenings, but if you have questions, I will try reply as quickly as possible. On Oct-04-18 at 17:22:18 PDT, seller added the following information: - Pursuant to my above comments about the broken windshield, the rear window and two side windows are NOT damaged. The back window and the two side windows are in excellent condition; i.e., no chips, scratches, or cracks. The rear window is tinted 5% limo tint, and the two side windows have no tint at all at present. The truck always had 3M Panther black tint during the time it was being driven, but after I took the truck off the road and parked it in my garage, I removed the 3M tint (which had turned purple) and put 5% (Gila parts store DIY ) variety on the back windows as a temporary measure. - The radio antenna is NOT broken off or damaged. I installed a Metra power antenna with black mast not long after buying the truck new. The power antenna still works, and it is triggered off the factory radio harness (the additional wire is properly pinned into the power antenna port on the stock connector). The factory radio or aftermarket head units will work with this power antenna. - I equipped the truck with McGard chrome lug nuts when it was new along with a McGard locking lug on each wheel. Also, the spare tire and tailgate hinges have a similar "locking lug nut" style anti-theft kit installed. The proper "keys" for these anti-theft devices are all present and accounted for and will be included with the truck. - The front end alignment is still fine. The truck was aligned several times during the years I was driving it, so the familiar factory "plugs" which must be removed on these trucks the first time they are aligned has long since been replaced with the proper "alignment kit" which allows proper adjustment.
