Salvage

Here is a Zundapp motor scooter that I bought in a package in order to get another scooter that I wanted. It came from an estate, and I do not have a key or a title. "Missing Title" was not an available choice when I did the listing, so I had to select salvage. No title will come with it, however I will be happy to provide a bill of sale.I have done nothing to it other than wash off some of the dirt from long term storage. It kicks over freely and seems to have good compression. The gas smells stale and nasty. The transmission seems to engage ok, but it will need a clutch cable. Unlike old Vespas, it has a curious little foot shift pedal rather than a handlebar shift. The brakes work and the tires hold air. The seat is remarkably good as I think the photos show. There is surface rust on the muffler, but it still seems quite solid. It even has what appears to be the original mirror. It rolls easily and all of the controls seem to work smoothly. It doesn't feel like a bike that has been neglected, poorly stored, or left outside.Please study the photos because I cant tell you much else about it. I have tried to provide plenty of high resolution pictures that can be enlarged so that you can see details. One thing that I forgot to photograph, is a sort of inner rear fender that is included with the scooter. I will try to add a photo of it tomorrow, Please ask any questions BEFORE you hit the "buy it now" or make an offer.The buyer will be responsible for any shipping arrangements, but I can store the bike for a month, or possibly more if arrangements are made BEFORE the sale.
