Vehicle Detail

Vin #CE140J139274 This truck was built specifically to be a dependable daily driver. This C10 CST is a road ready CHEVY pickup truck. It did have factory air and, of course could have once again without drilling holes in the dash. The evaporator is still in the truck. I love the 90's seat = there's more room! Here's the very recent updates within 1,000 miles; completely rebuilt 350 motor, new Edelbrock carburetor, rebuilt 350 automatic transmission, new steering box, new brakes, new master cylinder, front end rebuilt, new ball joints, new window channel, new stereo speakers in the doors, and more. The truck drives straight and smooth. The engine idles very low. The body from 30 feet looks good. The closer you get the closer it's age shows. **It does need a good set of seat belts. There's an upper factory drilled hole on each side of the inside of the cab to attach the newer style shoulder straps to. Bid in confidence this truck is as I list it. Delivery is possible for $1.00 per mile anywhere in the continental US. Any questions or, if you would like to see my truck please call Tom at 217-306-2821; Bloomington, Il. Thanks for looking! On Sep-18-18 at 06:21:07 PDT, seller added the following information: The reserve is set very low for the investment this truck had which now is a fresh/safe ride. There is "some" rust but, not bad. There are 2 very small holes in the cab in the rear floor of the corners. In all, for being 48+ years old it's very solid. The drive train is rebuilt and set to go at least another 100,000 miles. The rear end has fresh synthetic oil snd changed less than 100 miles ago.On Sep-20-18 at 19:54:51 PDT, seller added the following information: This vehicle has NO OIL LEAKS. On Sep-21-18 at 20:01:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Added 5 more pics. The rockers are ok for now but, sometime within the next decade they "could" be replaced. The right rocker has a few small holes (3, I think). I need to take a pic of the underside to show the fresh "looking" gaskets on the transmission, pan, and valve covers. It's a driver = drive it! Enjoy it! Completely restore it and you won't want to take it on the road = I'm speaking from experience. That being said, God bless every restorer as they are preserving our classic history. I LOVE completely restored cars. I just feel bad driving one daily that's a show car. I also feel bad driving one that should be restored. This one = it was rebuilt to drive every day. The ONLY 2 things I would do with this truck if driven daily would be to get a shoulder harness safety belt assembly and, if I drove in close traffic every day I would also add a power brake (not expensive). Not everyone is used to driving without those two "modern" features.
