For years Porsche realized that a certain segment of their market were comprised of die hard enthusiasts that wanted a car that gave them a true race car experience and still be street legal..So in 1999 they offered the 996 GT3 .The early GT3's were sparse ...creature comforts like AC, Sunroof, Air Conditioning ,sound deadening, were lost in an attempt to save weight. It was clear that there was indeed a market for these track purposed street legal cars. Through the years Porsche came out with different versions and over the years the GT3 grew in horsepower and performance. Wings got bigger and so did top speeds...creature comforts eventually made their way back, the manual transmission was replaced with a PDK...until now. The GT3 became easily recognizable by the large rear wing..and was guaranteed to garner attention wherever it went ..whether it be fueling up at the gas station or driving around town running errands. This GT3 was built with all the right options ..just shy of $30k in options!! The Graphite Blue Metallic/Black color combo with the yellow calipers is absolutely stunning.The best part of the car ..is it's a MANUAL transmission (thank God !finally!) It's true nirvana to experience the GT3 with the manual transmission and carbon fiber sport bucket seats.
