Vehicle Detail
Motorcycle is unrestored but pretty clean. It is mostly original except for the Corbin saddle and removable windshield. It is mechanical solid and the motor and shifting are good. But there is some wear and tear. There are chips in the paint though it still has good gloss and a little rust on the chrome here and there. It has a brand new front tire and a pretty new battery. It was last ridden in Dec. 2017 and has been in dry indoor storage since then. The fuel was drained out. It ran fine then and with some gas I'm sure it will again. I have health issues so that's why I gave up riding and decided to sell. Sale includes motorcycle, cover, windshield, hard luggage, shop manuals, electric tire pump and original tools. Also includes new air and oil filter and a few quarts of oil. I was surprised it started so easily after sitting for a while. But I can confirm now the bike is ride-able. - JohnOn Sep-03-18 at 11:27:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Monday 9/3: This is an answer to a bidder about the condition of the bike. I guess I should apologize for the poor quality of some of the photos. " Hello. Thanks for your interest. The first two photos are when I got the cycle a year ago. The rest are from when I got it out of storage a couple of months ago. In the late photos, the cycle is pretty dusty. I brought it over to my garage and cleaned it off. I took some new photos but they got deleted before I could post them. So I used the dusty shots. The bike is in good condition for it's age. But cosmetically it is not like new. But most people think it's nice for it's age, though. I kind of described it in the ad. The paint is chipped and worn here and there, but still has good gloss. The valve covers are scraped up a bit, but that seems to be common on the bikes. The chrome on the exhaust has a bit of rust. My intention was to ride it for a year and then repaint it, put new valve covers and replace the chrome exhaust pipes on it. Then it would probably look like new. But since I can't ride anymore I'm selling it. Mechanical it is sound and a good runner. It pulls strong and shifts smoothly. Doesn't smoke.I hope that helps. Thanks,John"On Sep-03-18 at 11:55:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Sunday 9/3: I added some new photos which includes some close-ups. They are of only the left side, but the right side looks the same. I just can't move the cycle around without some help. I think you can see that the overall appearance is pretty good.John
