today you are viewing my 1969 silver shadow I purchased this car from a 82 yr old gentleman in California where it has lived its whole life the gentleman said he said he never drove the car in the rain he stopped driving 10+ Yrs ago and the car has sat idle all fluids where drained at time of storage the car was not running when I purchased the car a year ago I collected the parts that I thought it would need such as fuel pump points rotor dist cap and new master cylinder as it did not have a brake pedal either I had a hard time finding a reputable mechanic to work on the car I finally found a guy to do the work he started by removing the carbs and cleaning them installed all my new tuneup parts put in a new battery and fired right up he flushed the complete brake system and installed master cylinder and bled the 14 point system and it now has brakes I drove the car home one hour and a half and the ride and drive is phenomenal the car needs attention to the exhaust maybe just a muffler and the carbs need adjusting as it is ideling a little high the body is in great condition with one previous quality paint job (years ago) the interior is in great condition considering it came from California not sun baked all the glass is nice all windows are working suprizingly the ac still works the body has one ding and scratch on the left rear door ( bike fell on it) all the chrome is nice for a 49 yr old RR the tires have a lot of tread but are checked from sitting idle for 10 plus yrs these older shadows are rapidly climbing in value (research them here on eBay 25 to 40k) with a little tlc this will be a nice driver any questions call bob at 248-761-2805 the car is sold as is deposits are none refundable so check with your better half thanks for looking
