Description This is a rare, diesel, Land Cruiser made in Japan with a complete nut and bolt frame off restoration that was completed this year. This is one of the best we have ever had. If you would like to see pictures of the frame off process please let me know and I can email them to you. This beautiful cruiser will turn heads everywhere you go! It was completely taken apart piece by piece with all new nuts and bolts installed, brought down to the metal, primed, and painted. We didn't start with a rust bucket, but started with a clean, low mile cruiser and made it nearly new. Diesel BJ40s are worth more than gas FJ40s because they were never imported into the US, making them much more rare than the gas FJ40s. The diesels are highly sought after because the engines last longer than the gas. The engines are known to be bullet proof and go to 500,000 miles. This particular cruiser had 68,000 original miles when we purchased it from a man who owned a coffee plantation and used it to check on his employees. It was well taken care of and garage kept. Everything works perfectly including lights, brakes, horn, wipers, 4x4 shift, transmission, clutch, starter, alternator, steering, ect. This one was gone over by a diesel mechanic when we purchased it and anything that needed to be updated or changed was done during the frame off restoration.
