I bought this van in Florida, in 08, with 30k miles on it. My title is clear, I am unsure how insurance co. will record it, but it is rebuild-able. I slammed a deer less than a mile from home (in May). I got out, looked at the damage - a lot -with anti-freeze pouring out. I drove home and it sat, until yesterday. I had to jump start it, and move it to opposite side of driveway. It did start and drive -but needs lots of work. Local reputable mechanic stated about $2k to get it going but not to replace bumper, headlight etc.. Engine was (and can be again) still running strong. Shelves were removed from cargo area, leaving several screw holes in the floor. Ladder racks go with the van. Like all of the early Sprinters it has the rusty spots. I took care of them the first few years it happened, but not the last few. It has an ASR button that locks the differential (both rear wheels drive) and great tires. Great in the snow for a big van although I was always carrying some weight. Cargo roof area had or has leak in a seam. I put tape across last year. Top of windshield did too. I had the repairs done before a new windshield was installed earlier this year. The 5 cylinder diesel is not the fastest but gets about 20mpg! I believe this truck, with proper work and maintenance, is capable of lasting many more miles/years. Overhead lights will be removed from cargo area and are not included. I strongly suggest that you come look if you are serious about bidding. We are located in Zip Code 12501, 1/10 of a mile off NY Rte 22.
