I bought this car 3 years ago as a light project. Unfortunately I had 4 other Corvettes at the time and never did anything with the car. The car does not run, it would have to be towed. This is everything wrong with the car. It has a small brake leak on the driver side front wheel and the power steering. It doesn't need to be checked daily or even weekly, but I would check it monthly. The driver side door insert was taken off, because the previous owner said that the clip that allowed the car to be locked and unlocked had broke. He never ordered the clip. I did years ago (it was dirt cheap), but I have long since misplaced it. I noticed however that the drivers side electric window motor was weak. I spoke to my mechanic about it, and he said to leave the insert off, and when he replaced the window motor he would put the clip on as well as put the door insert. I have the door insert with the handle, and all the things that go with it. Also, the driver side t-top insert needs new/replaced sticky(I think it is velcro) so that the t-top insert can be re-attached to it. I have that insert as well. I could never get the fancy stereo to play. I don't have a clue. I have only driven the car including test drive and drive home, a total of 4 times. The last time I drove it was September of last year. Since then the battery has went dead, and now I am told that the float on the carburetor is stuck, and it is spraying to much gas. The car also needs to be washed. It has been garaged and under a car cover, but it still has dust on it. I know nothing of cars, and have sworn off all projects no matter how light they are. The car is nice inside and out. I would say in good condition especially for being 41 years old. No rust on the frame. I think with minimal work, the car would be back on the road again in no time.
