eBay recently cancelled my listing and cited vehicle misrepresentation. It was a shook to me, but after looking into it, they were right to do this. The car had a title that stated "vehicle buyback" and I stated that the title was clear. The maintenence shop that I have dealt with for decades and did all the work discribed below, acted as a go between in the sale. They contacted the owner and after purchasing the car, the title was sent to me . I opened the FedEx envelope, saw the signed AZ title and put it in a drawer without examining it. None of us, including the previous owner, realised that the title was a dealer buyback. Obviously the car was repaired, resold and managed to rack up 132,000 miles over the years. As a result of this, I have reduced the price of the car from $8900.00 to a starting bid of $6900.00 which is also the reserve. I will take my loose due my inattention. I appologise to the eBay community for this oversight. I stand by everything stated below as to the condition of the car. Contact me if you have any questions. I will be glad to talk by phone if you ask. Jeff The previous owner of this car bought it sight unseen. When it arrived, it did not run well. It was deternined that the engine EPU (computer) had been exposed to water and it was replaced and all systems were reprogramed. That was just the beginning. Over the next 6 months, he spent over $15,000 on the maintenence of the car. Everything from spark plugs, fuel injectors, hoses, brakes, coolant, transmission, cabin filters, sensors, seals, leaks, etc. were replaced, repaired or serviced. I have all the reciepts, and they will go with the car. It is easier to list what wasn't done than to list what was. The hood pad was replaced and the windshield cowl was replaced. Even the hydrolic pump that operates the tailgate was serviced. This is an amazing car, the most sophisticated, fast and best handling car I have ever owned. It has every option available including a panoramic sunroof and the I Drive system. It is in excellent condition, inside and out. I purchased the car when the previous owner had to move suddenly across the country. I love the car, but find it is just more car than I presently need. I doubt, due to my age, if I ever will learn how to operate the I Drive system!! It will be hard to find a car like this with a maintenence history as extensive and complete as this one.
