Up for sale is a 2001 SVT Cobra with only 73000 miles . After skipping the model year 2000 the special vehicle team came back with the 2001 model after perfecting the platform started with the 1999 Cobra. This particular Cobra is a Mineral Grey Convertible with the black ragtop. The Mineral Grey paint color is perfect for this car. It's not too flashy(you don't have to worry about the cops always watching you), and it goes great with the black top. The convertible top works perfect, it goes up and down in about ten seconds very smoothly with no leaks. This car is a perfect choice with for a summer drive. With the top down you can enjoy the wind in your hair and the summer rays. This also gives you a chance to show off the styling bar included with the vehicle. The outside of the car has all of it's badging and unqiue 2001 Cobra tail lights and foglights. The only thing of note with the exterior is the paint is starting to show its age and the vehicle has some small dents and dings that can be seen in the pictures, specifically the ones of the passenger side. The interior of the car is in top notch shape. Almost like brand new(there is one small rip in the driver side seat). The interior is all original with no additions/modifications. Power windows(all four), Power seat, power mirrors, Cobra style leather seats, 6 disc cd player, cobra style gauge cluster/steering wheel and original Shift knob and boot. Now on to the good stuff. This car is power by the SVT 4.6L V8 producing 320 Horsepower and 317 ft pounds of torque. This engine is bone stock(As it came from the factory), it has been unmolested by upgrades and never raced. A blank slate for anyone that wants to build upon it. There is nothing wrong mechanically with the car. It drives like its brand new. The car is very responsive and has never given me an issue with the engine. The car handles like a dream with the 4 wheel disc brakes and the IRS(independent rear suspension, only 2015+ mustangs have this other than the 99-04 cobras) system. On a side note the rear rotors are a little worn but have never given me an issue. The car could also use new tires. The best part about this car is its clean CARFAX. NO ACCIDENTS. And only two owners. So just to be clear this car is perfect accept for some paint spots showing its age, some small dents, small rip in drivers seat, rear rotors and old tires.
