This is a low mileage riding original, sporting a Panther Gold gas tank with light patina. Its been fully serviced and is in excellent original riding condition for its age. First it was disassembled then components were inspected. Blemished fasteners or worn parts encountered were either cleaned or replaced. As shown in the video it starts immediately, runs smoothly and idles at 1,200 rpm. It has matching frame and engine serial numbers: SL350-3010106 and SL350E-3010128. There are many original items on it that you don’t typically find in this good of condition. The aluminum fenders are in excellent condition and the camera has a hard time picking up any evidence of wear. The chrome finish on the wheels, forks, rear shocks, headlight ring and ears, brake linkage, handlebar clamp bolts and washers, tach and points cover, are in excellent condition with minimal pitting. The crankcase side covers have been polished and refinished. Mufflers have the typical rash exhibited on this model but are functional. Replacement of new parts:Tires, tubes and rim strips have been installed and wheels balanced. It has new handlebars, plastic side covers with SL350 decals, seat cover, battery, HD Nickel racing chain, wheel bearings, brake pads, tool box lid, grips, front brake cable, front sprocket, tail light lens, air filters, front brake switch, fuel filters and hoses, spark plugs, tank cap lock, chrome plated lever bolts and many other NOS items. In addition, gaskets have been replaced on engine side covers, tank cap, carburetors and petcock. Disassembly, maintenance and inspections completed:The entire motorcycle was disassembled and cleaned. Carburetors have been ultrasonically cleaned, valve clearance set, timing adjusted, oil changed, oil filter cleaned, brakes and clutch adjusted and lubricated, steering stem bearings repacked and tank is free of rust (see last photo). Included with this item is a signed title, two keys for the ignition, matching handlebar lock and the seat. As detailed in the payment section, $200 deposit is due in 24 hours and full payment in 7 days.
