I've been receiving many offers on this Z! I need to be in the Mid 5k range to let it go. 6/18/18 - I added photos of frame rails. They are unrusted, and look very solid. I've had a lot of people asking for them, so here you go. Up for sale is my 1975 Datsun 280z. NO NEED TO SMOG! This is an unmolested original Z that runs great, stops great and has a straight body for its age. Clean Title in my name. It does have some rust in floorboards (at the low spots where the floorboard plugs were) which is very common with Z cars. Also a bit of rust at the lower rear quarter panel and spare tire well. But all undersides of doors and battery tray are solid with no signs of rust. My plan was to Replace the floorboards (available online) weatherstripping and redo the carpets and interior and drive it, but other opportunities are calling. My loss is your gain. PROS: Brand new tires Brand new Battery 2nd Owner Clean Title Runs great 81,000 Original Miles New rear brake cylinders and shoes All Original Engine and compartment Has A/C (haven't tested it yet) All Original body (Emblems, trim, etc) Original Wheels Seats are in pretty nice shape 4 speed Manual Comes with new clutch master cylinder (not installed yet, because the original is still working) NEW clutch Master Cylinder NEW injector O-rings Injectors Cleaned All NEW fuel injection hoses (proper high pressure fuel injection specific tubing was used) NEW water temperature sensor All rubber fuel lines back to tank have been replaced Fuel Tank Drained and Cleaned Couple issues: Drivers window glass is broken (still has mechanism intact, just needs glass) Windshield has crack Dash is crackedDrivers seat stitching is unraveling a bit on bottom cushion. I haven't gone through all the fuses and relays, so the headlights and blinkers and some other electrical items don't turn on (brake lights work) $1000 deposit at end of auction. If you arrange truck freight I can coordinate with them to get it loaded and shipped. Buyer pays all shipping charges.
