Vehicle Detail
Unique and fun to drive customized 1936 Chevrolet Short Cab Pickup Truck on a 4WD International Scout chassis with authentic patina. A very solid and clean vehicle that runs like a top and goes down the road just as it should. Truck has been stored indoors and faithfully maintained. We have made every effort to represent this truck accurately -- please see photographs for detailed views. About the Title: In Wisconsin, unlike many other states, there is no provision for a "rebuilt" title. Instead, Wisconsin issues a "rebuilt salvage" title for any vehicle that has undergone a rebuild (Chevy body on an International chassis) as this truck has. Body and Paint Solid floors, fenders and box. Doors open and shut smoothly. All glass intact and windows roll up and down properly. Windshield tilts outward as it should. Decent paint job with a touch of patina -- some chips, but no bubbling or rust evident. A beer barrel mounted on the box serves as the gas tank, and is equipped with a sight glass. Wheels and Tires Tires are like new -- have less than 500 miles on them. Wheels have light pitting, but can be made presentable with some elbow grease. Drive Train Straight 6 engine with new starter and Holley carburetor. Engine block numbers are: H 2 319 808 3. 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. Exhaust is solid and quiet. Cab All gauges work properly except fuel gauge. (As noted earlier, there is a sight glass for the beer barrel gas tank in the truck's box.) Bench seat is solid. AM/FM cassette stereo works fine. The "wood" panels in the dash are covered with a wood grain adhesive-backed vinyl.
