This Chevy Impala convertible was purchased new by my parents prior to getting married in 1964. The mileage is 41,633. I acquired this car from my mom’s estate after she passed away in October 2016 and lovingly named it the “Blue Goose”. It was stored in her garage and not driven from 2000-2016. I have all the receipts of what was done to the car to get it back up and running (just normal wear and tear stuff like belts, battery, fuel lines, etc...). The car was appraised for $25,500 after this work was completed (see pictures). It has the 283 v8 engine with a 2 barrel carb. The engine block was re-painted at some point. The condition of the car is good. It does have some surface rust spots, mainly in the trunk. There are some spots on the outside of the vehicle that just look like the patina of a 50+ year old car. It does leak a little bit of oil. The glove box key does not work, and the interior of that has been removed. A replacement interior for the glove box is included with the car. The Blue Goose is a joy to drive. It’s like going back in time when I put the top down and get behind the wheel of this great car. My wife and I took it on Sunday drives last summer on country rides across the county. Car cover and new convertible boot are not pictured, but will be included with the car. Also includes the owner’s guide and owner identification booklet from original purchase. This car is ready to go to a good home where it will be enjoyed for another 50 years.
