Vehicle Detail

Relisted due to overseas buyer (Sweden), claiming he doesn't know how this happened. Zero feedback and based in Sweden. Thought something was not right the second I saw those two things, but ya never know, he might have had dual citizenship...Anyway he replied that it was a mistake and doesn't know how it happened. Btw, this listing qualified for a free VIN Autocheck report that didn't appear so here it is viewable in prior listing: Autocheck Report on 1997 Lincoln Town Car Provided By Ebay Just scroll down a bit under the main photo to the Vehicle History Report centerTab and view the entire clean / clear report. It's pretty short, only two owners (3 with me). Lincoln's 1997 top of the line Cartier Town Car in Ivory Pearl / cream leather interior. Lincoln Town Cars are the last of the true American Luxury Sedans. They set the standard for many years on what luxury and comfort should be! Call 505-920-5395 anytime after 2:00 P.M. MST to late night for any questions. Will also include the CD of all 1997 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury Vehicle Service Manuals. Selling a super clean elderly adult owned 1997 Lincoln Town Car Cartier that just crossed 77K mi (77191) and is not being driven at the moment since I bought a new Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab 4X4 Hemi truck, have another pristine white / white interior Signature Touring Town Car and a 1998 Corvette and only one driver in the home. Well maintained by dealership owner's mechanic and this car originally belonged to dealership owner's wife in Mobile AL. I flew there to buy it and drove it home across almost the whole country (Florida to Santa Fe, N.M.) like driving on a cloud. To show how well I take care of my vehicles, here's a video with pictures of my 180K mile Signature (pics taken May 12th, 2018), that I bought 18 years ago (yes eighteen years ago), from estate sale with 67K miles daily driver 1997 Signature. Special ordered white with / white interior (generally not allowed - same color interior and exterior), plus special order chrome wheels (also generally not available on non- Cartiers but Special Edition Signatures such as Jack Nicklaus, Gold Edition, Touring Edition etc, could get them w/ special package add on.) 1997 Spec Order Lincoln TC White W/ White Int Signature In Condition I've Kept it for 18 yrs! - YouTube Video will open in a new window [isdntekvideo] I finally had time to take the cover off May 15th to wash the outside and take pictures. It had been stored under my carport in a full size to the ground all weather cover so it was only slighty dusty. I was only able to rinse the car off - no washing or polishing and certainly couldn't detail the car 'cause I stepped wrong and wrenched my knee stepping up to a raised area where the hose is connected and my knee was already injured, so due to the pain and not being able to do much walking at that moment, some pictures show the car wet as well as having rinsed of the simple dust from the engine and the engine is wet. I was barely able to somewhat dry it, and it's nowhere near detailed as it could be had I washed and waxed it - but it's still super clean enough to post images that are good enough to represent the condition of the vehicle. Car comes with full size spare of same 8-window chrome wheel (not shown). Please note: There is a scrape / crease caused by what I can only assume was a vehicle as I don't know what else could have caused that in a parking lot. It's on the passenger side upper part of the rear fender near the deck lid. Honestly with the rest of the car in the condition it is, I've let it go for years without having it repaired and painted 'mostly because I don't know any REALLY good painters that can do a three stage pearl and make it match' and don't want to risk it made it to look worse, (and I don't see it when I'm driving so it doesn't bother me). Fully loaded with all power options except sunroof. I had another 1997 Cartier before this one wit sunroof exactly like this Cartier in every other way - color, phone, wheels and all, but I didn't like the sunroof - no headroom at all..Can't wear a hat or cap and bothered girls' hair. Sold it easily to a restaurant owner though who was a short gentleman. Car has Integrated telephone in center armrest, PW, PB, PS, A/C, cruise control, tilt wheel, rear window defroster, full digital dash and radio, AM/FM cassette with 10-disk CD changer in trunk inner fender driver side compartment with door, plus full stereo system / CD controls on the steering wheel, + steering wheel controls for climate and cruise control. Memory, heated power seats, heated power side view mirrors, Electrochromatic automatic driver side view mirror and auto rear view mirror that also prevents blinding rear brights, Lighted driver, passenger and rear passenger drop-down mirrors, Home automation controls on driver visor for garage door opener and other assignable functions, power locks, key FOB remote for doors, trunk and panic alarm, door mounted keypad keyless entry, original floor mats, Premium 'special order only' 8 window 'impossible to find' full chrome wheels (not alloys) as already mentioned, with full cover to match trunk lining. These are Lincoln's most expensive wheel option for this year and if you can find one even used (just try and see how hard they are to get. Just one wheel will cost you $350 in used condition without the center cap). Special Ivory Pearl paint with creme or cream leather seats - no wear on leather. Can see seats better in image showing armrest opened showing car phone. Pics were taken late in the day (I get up at 2:00 P.M.- swing shift), using my smart phone which doesn't take high quality images, but did best I could. The lady who owned it (who was 88 at the time I bought it), was a tiny woman and used it for short drives to church and to the market and not enough weight on her or enough use on the driver seat in 56K miles to cause any driver seat wear. Seats looked like new when I bought it and car had new car smell and has never been smoked in. Still has clean leather, new car / leather smell. Premium JBL sound system. Goodyear 'pinstripe' whitewall tires appropriate for the car (versus blackwall or wide whitewall), that have about 95 % tread remaining. Runs smoothly, great gas mileage, you could eat off the engine when I first saw it (looked like it belonged in a showcase showroom), and it's still very clean in the engine bay. No fluid leaks whatsoever. Last year of the true big Lincoln Town Cars before the rounded style came in (THAT NO ONE liked and that changed the ride as the cars drove like a tank with lots of road noise) There is no replacing this 1997 Lincoln Town Car for true American Luxury as it set the standard for many years in comfort and luxury.
