PRICE REDUCTION. This 1966 International Scout originally from New Mexico is now in New Jersey with a clear NJ title in my name. It is a rare sport top model with the rear step bumpers and step plates but the original top and rear side windows are long gone. The body is much better than most Scouts as it comes from the dry west. It does have some rust starting on the bottom of the front fenders and on the quarter panels were they hold dirt by the fuel tank. It has some dents and bad bondo work with gray primer. There are many scrapes and scratches from years of use but if you look beyond them it is solid. I cleaned and painted the floors with POR 15. The 152 four cylinder engine runs good and has a professionally rebuilt carburetor at $208.00 a new electric fuel pump and tune up parts. I have driven it around the yard but not on the street. All the glass is good in the windshield and doors. The doors and tailgate close good and are rust free. It has an electric Ramsey winch mounted behind the front bumper. There are IH front locking hubs and it has four wheel drive. The original mileage is unknown. It would make a great restoration project with these increasing in value every year. Please feel free to inspect it in Ringoes NJ 08551. ---- To answer some questions I received, Yes it is running off the left side factory gas tank. I opened it up and put a scope down in it and it was clean. I did not check the right side tank. The front winch has a setup that is something I have never seen. It has a separate 12 volt electric motor that runs a pulley with a v-belt to the winch. It does run the cable in and out but will need a new belt soon. I have added two pictures of the front floors showing the rust. It is hard to see it but it is minimal.
