It's Back Thanks to the folks at Petroworks in Fallbrook, CA, this 1987 Suzuki Samurai is licensed, registered, and has a two month old smog certificatoin. I started with a basket case Sammi 5yrs ago. It now has a professionally rebuilt engine & transfer case. The transmission has been inspected and serviced. The driveshafts have been balanced and they have new universal joints. The brake system is all new except for the hard lines along the frame, but these were inspected and cleaned. It has new spark plugs, wires, coil, and distributor. It has a fresh battery, new starter, alternator and all associated wires. The steering system has a new steering box and rag joint. I replaced the heater core and I'm waiting for an new heater switch. The headlights have been upgraded to HID and all other exterior lights have been switched to LED Including the addition of a Cree light bar. The exhaust is a bit of a frankenstein but the catalytic converter and muffler are new. The fuel system is new including the tank. On the suspension side, I installed a Low Range Off-road 1.5" lift shackles, polyurethane bushings and new tires. Inside it has all new shift boots and shift knobs, new dash and an original japanese MOMO steering wheel with a NRG quick disconnect. I added lowrange off-road storage boxes in the rear, radio surround up front and a Tuffy security console between the seats. Last on the list are a "Superman" grill and stock ball hitch from Japan. It has toe period correct Curt towbar to tow the Sammi behind a motorhome. The new owner will also get a box of spare parts and a case of royal purple oil for the first oil change. I have driven this truck 200 miles since I received the plates and it has run without a problem.
