Typical Dyno results are 215-220 rwhpMy Dyno results= 286 rwhp with Factory Intake Manifold & Factory Cats. 15-17% loss w 5 spd is 330+ hp at the flywheel. Patriot Performance Stage II 2v heads. Windsor.Stainless Steel Valves and .600" lift springs with Titanium retainers5 angle valve job and 5-axis CNC porting. Car is registered in California Comp Cams XE262AH #102500. checkout at compcams.com they are awesome street cams and easily passed smog here in California.I chose these cams and the ported heads and 3.73 gears because a friend had the same setup & tailpipe readings were cleaner than when stock.His car put down 302 rwhp with aftermarket cats & X pipe. I simply copied his successful setup but chose to use factory cats to be California compliant. The car pulls hard down low and has great tip in throttle response and still pulls to 6100 rpmCar ran 13.70 @ 103 mph with street tires Everything except the JLT Cold Air Intake is factory stock or CARB LEGAL. I used Genuine Ford Performance Part not aftermarket because Ford got it right and they were installed by a Ford Tech Pro Tinted Windows I purchased in 2004 factory stock from the 2nd owner as a weekend cruiser. I quickly modified the car and drove for 5 fun yrs w/ no issues until Factory Intake cracked & I replaced with the Typhoon Intake Manifold to get a little more hp. During the new Intake Manifold Dyno tune the tuners shop computer system shut off and the run was aborted @ 4000 rpm.I believe he force wrote a bad tune instead of being honest and putting the stock tune back in the car to get it home and return it the next day.I drove it home less than 5 miles very gently with no issues. The next morning I started the car to return to the Dyno, backed out of the driveway and as I was letting out the clutch at maybe 1500 rpm it sounded like a rocker arm or spring came loose and started clacking. I immediately shut it off and pushed it back into the driveway.It is not believed to have damaged the short block. Compression test held pressure at the piston ring on cylinder #6I did pull a code that showed faulty fuel rail pressure sensor.? I covered the car in frustration and started working on my 88 5.0 Lx coupe race car and ignored the GT for the past 8yrs. I will not start the car in current condition so I must be honest and say " NOT RUNNING" even though it will start up right now with a battery installed. If you buy it or you are serious enough that you want to send a mechanic/tech with proper equipment to truly diagnose what is wrong you cando a compression & leak down test and pull codes as I lost/forget the results but remember it being the #6 cylinder.I will do this because I am not looking to rip anyone off. Look at my ebay feedback. I have been on Ebay since Feb. 2001 *Due to amount of time car has been sitting I would strongly suggest changing all fluids and probably drain the fuel tank due to California terrible gas. Tires have plenty of tread but are dry rotted. The brakes are newer but rusted from sitting so long. Comes with Alpine am/fm CD player but no speakers. *Needs fuel rail pressure sensor and cylinder head valve train inspection & diagnostics. Due to changing from stock PI intake to the Aluminum Typhoon Intake Manifold a new Dyno tune will be required. It will run and drive with the stock tune but I would not suggest doing it.
