Vehicle Detail
1966 chevelle Malibu NO IT's not an SS pic of trim tag shows what it is. This is a project car, in need of restoration. Body is just sitting on frame, was getting it ready to put the body on a rotisserie. Body is not as bad as some I've seen. Has been worked on previously, mostly on floors and has some thick undercoating on it. I will Say it again......PROJECT CAR......IN NEED OF BODY REPAIR NOT A SHOW CAR....IF YOU BID ON IT OR MAKE AN OFFER AND IT'S ACCEPTED, IT IS YOURS.....DEPOSIT BY PAYPAL REQUIRED. Most of the worse areas are shown on the pics. Needs repaired in areas under front and rear windows. I've already started in the rear and bought a new shelf panel and also the panel in front of trunk, which fits on top of the shelf panel. Still need a new repair panel for the front that connects to the dash panel. Upper cowl area is decent with no repairs needed there, just the area under the wind shield. I also have a new left Quarter panel, but should get the full quarter to cover the window area. Some small holes in front floors and trunk floor, nothing too large. Now, this has a 10 bolt rear, don't know ratio. The car can be setup to be stick or automatic, have both sets of pedals and somebody already cut the hole for a floor shifter. I have a pretty complete extra dash that was for a floor shift, has wiring harness radio and everything. Have an extra set of 4 side windows. Have 1/2 of extra rear seat. A lot of extra parts and trim strips, think they are all there but need polished and some extra ones. Doors are original and not to bad, inside door panels were poorly recovered but there. Gas tank is out but should be usable. Have 2 front bumpers and an extra set of brackets for the rear one. All 4 wheels and tires are nice and usable, tires are good and trim rings are nice. No, Hood, Windshield, rear window, no front seat, left wheel well, right brake drum, and of course no motor or trans. I do have some more pics, especially floor pans, do not ask for more pics unless You are serious. Had some serious injuries that makes it hard for Me to complete this project. Also am selling my house and will be moving soon, so no games. They are getting harder and harder to find any more, and pretty much all of them are not really repairable, this one is. It's been in my garage for almost 5 years so it is time to let somebody else repair it and enjoy it. If You are serious and live nearby I require a $500 Pay Pal payment and pick up within a week. We will have to transfer the title and pay by cash no checks. I may arrange for someone to look at it before end of auction. Have a recent rebuilt 2000 Mark VI 454 long block on a summit rolling cradle that You can also buy if you are interested in it. It was recently rebuilt from Jasper and is very clean inside. It is a 4 bolt main, one pc seal, Hydraulic roller cam, with no fuel pump boss. Was in a Chevy C3500 bucket truck. I've been screwed before so No 3rd party pick up, unless We have title transferred and Cash in person. NO RESERVE ----THIS TIME Good luck
