This 52 year old survivor was retrofitted in 2009 with a remanufactured 289, a rebuilt transmission, new drive shaft, and a stronger rebuilt rear axle assembly. The retrofit included a new disc brake five-lug front suspension and new rear and front springs. The car was repainted red base and clear coated. This after-market (Lexus) color perfectly enhances the stock color red and white interior. All chrome pieces are excellent (mostly new). The window glass and stainless trim are excellent. Under hood equipment includes chrome trim items, a heavy duty aluminum radiator, factory air, Edlebrock Intake Manifold and 4 Barrel Carburetor, MSD Ignition System including Coil and Distributor. Interior pieces and the weather-stripping are new. The sound system is a Pioneer unit (AM/FM/Cd) with remote. This car has spent its whole life in Southern CA. The under body is original and rust free. This mustang runs strong, looks beautiful, and is ready to cruise. It has a clear title and current registration. Inspections with appointment are welcome.
