Vehicle Detail
Absolutely Mint CBR 1000RR in traditional Repsol ColorsRELISTED DUE TO NON-PAYING BIDDERS FOR THE THIRD TIME. DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY. Buyers with less than a 10 feedback rating need to contact me prior to bidding or your bid will automatically be cancelled.$500 deposit is due immediately for Buy It Now options and within 24 hours for winning bid. If not paid, the sale will be cancelled. Unfortunately, non-paying bidders waste time and cause serious buyers the chance at purchasing this wonderful bike. If you are a Marq Marquez or Dani Pedrosa fan, I can get the tail piece autographed for you at the MotoGP races in Austin April 22nd. Even if the bike is shipped to you prior to the races, I can hold onto the tail piece and will mail it with signature no later than April 24th. This bike was part of a collection with only 88 miles. The Repsol paint scheme is the longest used paint scheme by a manufacturer and thus is still in use for the 2018 MotoGP season with Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa as the factory riders. Marc has won three of the last five championships aboard his Repsol MotoGP machine and is undefeated in pole position or winning since Circuit of the America’s (COTA) in Austin, Texas started. I am a Nicky Hayden fan and bought this because it was a tribute after Nicky Hayden won the 2006 MotoGP World Championship. He won by a very narrow margin, which came to the last race defeating Valentino Rossi. This beautiful bike has a Jardine carbon fiber slip-on exhaust, front flush-mount signal lights, levers and a flip-up license plate bracket as the only modifications over stock. Also included are frame sliders, swing arm sliders and spool sliders. The Repsol paint is in excellent condition with only minor marks which show rubbing/decal chipping from being rubbed against while stored/displayed. There are no scratches on the tank from typical buckles so you know it is in great shape. The Nicky tribute decal is in perfect condition as can be seen on the pictures. The bike starts up with zero hesitation. In addition to this bike, I have ten Ducati's and an MV Agusta and although I would like to keep this one, I just don’t have room to display it with the bikes I currently own. Whether you want it as a collectible, like the paint scheme, want a very nice bike without paying the crazy high prices in the market today or you are an aficionado of the older 1000RR bikes, this may be a good fit for you. I am located in the Dallas, Texas area. The bike is available for viewing/inspection PRIOR to the auction ending. I will not allow test rides, but I will be more than happy to ride it around my street so you can see it in motion and see everything works. Bike is for sale locally, so I have the right to end this auction at anytime. I have purchased and sold several bikes over the years and shipped from all over the US. I can make myself available at anytime for a shipper to get this bike, but arrangements have to be made by you. I will help point you in the right direction for the most economical shipping if you'd like. I normally use uship.com as my preferred method and you can get a quote now to see an estimated cost to ship. Most bikes avg shipping cost of about $600 to the northeast and northwest from Texas. My most recent was $380 for a bike from Atlanta and $675 for one coming from San Francisco. $500 immediate deposit required. Remainder to be sent by wire or cashiers check within seven days. Bike will not be released until payment clears. Do not hesitate to contact me with questions.
