NOTE: Before we get started, the gunk on the front hood is the lovely invisible bra VW sold us - it will peel off with a hair dryer and has gotten brown from the elements - paint is mint under it. Up for your bidding pleasure is our family's 2002 Volkswagen Golf GTI 1.8T (turbo), 5 speed manual. The exterior is silver (overall paint condition is good to great considering the year) and the interior is black cloth (seats are black with black/grey inserts or centers). The car is a one owner vehicle (driven by an adult woman since day one of ownership) and as approx 114,XXX miles. The AC has been replaced within the last 5k and the onboard computer/brain. The battery is fairly new and the clutch, brakes and tires have many miles left on them. The timing chain was replaced at 75K. THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT ETC. It needs the tint redone (back window has started to come undone, there is a slight "key or scratch mark(s) as seen in pics - anyone with even a slight but of skill can fix it with nominal expense, someone bumped into the rear quarter panel and drove off (parking lot), leaving scuffs and very slight dings - see pics...slight cosmetic and sunroof needs to be "turned" back on - seals were replaced. Note: "Check Engine" light came on after a wonderful potential buyer borrowed the vehicle for the day, added Seafoam to the tank and the light went off. Have a video of the car idling and can easily do one of me driving the vehicle around - hoping to clear out the light by running a tank. Idle is fine. Overall the car is a great little vehicle, looks sharp as hell and will last many years to come. All stock and driven by an adult female at all times - read: not hot dogged or taken to the twisties etc. Car has been sitting for 6 months and starts right up. Sold as-is.
