1959 Impala was put into storage in 1987 and brought back out 2 years ago. Car has a 300+ HP 1964 327 that was rebuilt and bored with a Rebuilt 4 speed Muncie transmission. Runs and drive but will need new carrier bearing. Body is Solid, floors and trunk solid, all body panels solid as seen in pics, only surface rust NO rot. This car has been a 1 owner all its life, Owned by a 59 Parts and Car collector. Car is originally from Cochran and Celli Chevrolet dealership out of Oakland California and I have a lot of paper work for it including build sheet and Original sales receipt. Just installed a Brand new interior that used all NOS material not reproduction! Since November cars has new points, Plugs, Wires, Coil, Dist. Cap, Fuel pump, NOS 20.5 gallon fuel tank with NOS sending unit, NOS 1959 date coded Voltage regulator, New solenoid on the starter, NOS master cylinder 1" I believe . New clutch plate and throw out bearing installed. Motor has an early model rebuilt Quadrajet and manifold, NOS headlight sub assemblies and NOS full quarters were installed before car went into storage. Quarters were installed because one side got rear ended by a neighbor and the other has some rust that need to be cut out. instead of repairing it, it had Brand new NOS quarters installed. Car has New Firestone tires and New exhaust. This 59 is in great shape for someone who doesn't want to spend the big bucks for a done 59 and want to put your touch on it. With some fresh paint and a little love you got yourself a beautiful Chevy. I am only selling because of an Emergency situation. I had big plans for it. My loss is your gain! GOOD LUCK BIDDING!
