Vehicle Detail
I'm going to be as thorough as I can so there are no surprises. Contact me for walk around, engine running, and interior videos. Car is dusty from winter storage. It cleans up nicely and paint is driver quality with a few blemishes. - Rebuilt early 70s PONTIAC 350 with RAIV cam, BBC studs, new valves, etc. Motor is painted nicely with many new parts.- Motor runs well, revs high. Cam and carb are probably to big for easy cruising around town.- Manual choke Holley carb- Oil pressure 60-70 when cold and 50ish when warm- Tranny is a 4 speed SAGINAW with new clutch, pressure plate- Rear is a 4:10 posi- Newer brakes, but when I took it out a few days ago from winter storage, when applied, the left front is rough - probably just rust from setting, but sharing everything.- New rear shocks, leaf springs, bushings- New tires - rims are pretty good - a little bit of rust in the wheel seam.- Temperature steady at 170-180- Floor pans were patched. New spring pockets.- Nice rear frame rails- Trunk floor is a bit rusty on the sides- Original black car with red interior. Car was painted current color maybe 10-15 years ago.- Interior is a mix of red and black - shown clearly what in the video - contact me- Dash has a couple of cracks, but not to bad- Dash temp, oil pressure gauges aren't hooked up - gauges under dash.- Gas gauge is not accurate - Some rust on the right fender lower rear- Some bubbling on lower rear quarters - doesn't show up in pictures/video- Radio speakers need hooked up - wires are under carpet- Tranny leaks a little, looks like cover seal- Power steering belt squeals when cold- Rear bumper has a paint area peel off and the fuel lid cover is off- Need manual choke cable installed - I haven't because I'm considering going to electric or FI.- Shaker was riveted to hood when painted current color- Exhaust dumps out before rear axle Car would make a nice cruiser - not a show car at this point. Car was NY inspected mid last year and is on the road. Drove it a couple times this week around the block.
