We took this HHR on a test drive, and it runs and drives, but it has a head gasket leak. We have found: Mechanical: Mechanically, this HHR needs a head gasket repair. It starts up smoothly every time, and runs and drives, but the head gasket is leaking. - There are no dash warning lights on - The engine runs - There are no other noticeable leaks - The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears with no problems Exterior: The exterior of this HHR is in very good condition - Paint looks good and glossy all around the vehicle - There are no significant scratches or dents around the vehicle. - The tires are good condition, with significant tread life remaining Interior: The interior of this HHR is in very good condition. It is dirty, though, and will need a good detailing. - The front seats had seat covers on them, and are in great condition. The other seats did not have covers and are dirty. - The floors are in good condition - The headliner is in good condition - The rear trunk area is in good condition - The dash, consoles, etc. are all in good condition - The AC system blows cold - The radio and all controls for audio work and the sound system is very nice, with all speakers working - All lights, windows, etc. work as they should This HHR would make a perfect car for anyone who can put some mechanical work into fixing it.
