My parents are upgrading to an AWD vehicle so we are parting with this Toyota Camry SE. It is a really solid vehicle and I'm impressed with the build quality compared to other vehicles I've worked on and rebuilt. The vehicle is located in Colorado (Denver Metro Area), but is registered to my parents’ address in Utah.Please be aware that this vehicle has a Utah rebuilt title and is not under manufacturer warranty. Any recalls will still be honored with this vehicle, but the original warranty will not apply. A rebuilt title vehicle means the vehicle was once deemed a total loss by insurance and issued a salvage title, but has since been rebuilt, inspected, and retitled so that it can be registered again in all 50 states. Most credit unions and some banks have no problem financing a vehicle that has been through the inspection and rebuild process. You will need to check with your lender and/or insurance company for particulars. VEHICLE HISTORY:I purchased this vehicle from Copart (auto auction) from Houston in run & drive condition in November 2017 at 11,500 miles and cleaned up and rebuilt the vehicle myself. (you can still google the VIN to see the original auction listing). During the hurricane, the water came up about 5 inches on the door and got the carpet wet. Typically, any water intrusion and the insurance totals the vehicle—even if it still runs. I removed the carpet, cleaned and sanitized all the floor areas, panels, seat bottoms and went through all the electrical connectors with Deoxit. The SRS module under the center console did not get wet. Everything on the car is completely functional and the car still smells like a new car. VEHICLE CONDITION:This vehicle is as good mechanically as any equivalent used vehicle you would find at a dealership. If you’d like to have your own mechanic inspection report performed prior to purchase I am happy to take it to the mechanic of your choice here in Denver or to a dealership.The biggest blemish on this vehicle would be the small dent on the rear passenger door as seen in pictures. Paint is intact but there was no way for me to get behind it and pop it back out. There was a small fender bender accident for this vehicle on 12/20/17 where three cars behind were rammed by a distracted driver. I have pictures and the accident report. The Camry was bumped by the car directly behind and has a minor scratch on the rear bumper that is not noticeable and the bumper mount and reinforcement were not damaged. There are few swirl marks/minor scratches or rock chips on the hood, front bumper as well, but these are also not obvious. ABOUT THE SELLER:I have purchased about 7 vehicles from the auction for family and friends. I have a Ram and Audi that I've rebuilt for myself. PRICE & PAYMENT:Vehicle insurance value was $18,700 and KBB says an equivalent is worth around $18,000-$18,300 today. A rebuilt title will knock 20% of the vehicle value so $14,400. Because of the small dent and scratches, I am listing it for $13,800 $12,600. $500 deposit on eBay for purchase with the remainder of the payment in secure funds (cashier’s check, money order or cash) due within 7 days of the close of the listing. Shipping:I live within 12 minutes of Denver Internation Airport if you’d like to pick the vehicle up. I recommend Direct Auto Transport for shipping if you need a freight company to ship this vehicle. I’ve used them several times for my auction project cars. They are a dispatcher but you will find that they do a very good job at estimating shipping costs up front (without registering and getting spammed) with no surprises later.
