This is an East Texas car that had been stored inside a shop since last tagged in 1997. Mileage is according to odometer, I do not know actual mileage. I purchased it in March of 2017, and brought it back to Dallas. It was originally a 3 speed manual transmission. Previous owner converted to automatic , (Ford-O-Matic), with aftermarket lockout floor shift. Original pedal assembly is still in the car, and transmission could be converted back to manual transmission easily. Column was changed by previous owner, to automatic, as well. Engine is a 170 C.I. straight / inline 6 cylinder. Runs steady, does not smoke. Transmission will need the input shaft seal replaced, there is leaking. Transmission shifts fine, with fluid level up. Body is straight, some surface rust. Floors have some holes, but hold under weight, and are not falling through. I have a set of new front and rear pans that will go with the car. Car does not appear to have in any accidents. Trunk pan was redone at some point. Glass is in good condition. Rubber around doors, windows, hood, and trunk need to be replaced. I have replaced the complete fuel system, with exception of the carburetor. I recommend replacing it, intermittent leak at throttle shaft. A good portion of the electrical system has been gone thru, corrected, and replaced. Headlights, taillights. interior courtesy light work. (I have a correct wiring diagram that will go with the car, as well.)Turn signal and windshield wiper switches need to be replaced. Car is in very solid condition, and will not take much more to be on the road again, full time. Car runs, drives, and stops, but is not a daily driver, yet. It has been test driven around the neighborhood, while repairs have made, but not any distance. It will need to be transported via trailer or dolly. The following parts have been replaced with new:Fuel tank, fuel tank straps and insulators, sending unit, -6 braided fuel line, fuel pump, remote fuel filter, front and rear u-joints, ignition switch, headlight switch, voltage regulator, generator, battery cables, starter solenoid, engine wiring harness (not new, complete and in good condition), ignition wires, spark plugs, distributor cap/ rotor, oil, oil filter, engine conditioner added, transmission pan gasket, transmission fluid, transmission conditioner added. Extra taillight lens, front marker lenses, trunk lock cylinder and keys to be installed. I do have trim pieces, not in pictures including trunk lock bezel and sill plates. The car is unmolested overall, and mostly original. Texas Title is clear and in my name.
