The bus was brought to our shop for a complete restoration 8 years ago. Our customer ran into financial troubles so we ended up with the bus. Unfortunately we have so many other projects taking priority that this one has to go. This Westfalia is painted white up top with a nice surfer blue color that everyone loves on the bottom. It would look great outside a surf shop, restaurant or any other business. Exterior: The van came to us in its current condition. Overall the body and paint look really nice, but its not perfect. Exterior has some small rust bubble areas around the exterior. No serious rot but the van would need some paint and bodywork to be perfect. Underneath frame looks solid. All glass and exterior items are included in boxes and can either be reused or replaced. Interior: Interior could use a good cleaning on the seats and cabinets. Upper bed fabric looks like new. Pop top canvas is heavy duty, no rips and is in great condition. This bus has the sink, stove and fridge however we have not tested.. Mechanical: The bus has not been driven but everything seems to all be intact. Engine is the factory 2.0 type 4 with fuel injection and an automatic transmission. Bus has been sitting for 8 years so it needs to be completely gone over. The bus will need to be towed or shipped. We can give quotes for shipping if needed. For an east coast bus it’s much better than the ones we normally see. It’s been in dry storage for the past 8 years. Get it running and drive it as it is, or have it reworked to be a show car.
