Up for auction is a very clean example of a 1972 CL100, although titled as a 73, as Honda did back in those days. Runs and rides very nice, like a new one. The engine starts right up, idles good, and is very quiet. The exhaust system is near perfect, with the exception of the typical dent underneath from the passenger peg, and slight signs of useage. There is a slight pitting on the top of the chain guard, front fender some signs of ageing. Seat has no rips or tears, very nice for its age. Tires are good, although they are knobbies. New battery, charging system works perfectly. All of the lights work, but they are the original bulbs. Chain and sprockets are good, and are probably the originals given the low mileage. Headlamp ring shows some sign of ageing as well. The inside of the tank is clean, there is a slight browning in color due to its age, no leaks. The footpegs, bars, shifter, kicker, grips, switches, are all close to perfect, very slight wear. This bike is about as nice as they get!!!
